Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Saboto Caesar has announced that the Cannabis Festival will be added to the annual calendar of activities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

In an interview with NBC Radio News, Minister Caesar commended the board and staff of the Medicinal Cannabis Authority for the idea and the execution of the first ever Medicinal Cannabis Festival.

The Minister said he is very happy with the participation of the traditional cultivators in the festival.

"The Rastafari community, the Local Investors, the Investors from the region and also the International Investors. It has definitely placed in the context of festivals at a very high bar and I'm looking forward to having a meeting with the different stakeholders in the upcoming days so that we can begin right away to plan and prepare for Cannabis 2025. I can assure persons it is going to be an activity that will be on the calendar of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines it has the full support of the Government."
